On Friday, Israeli militants opened fire on Palestinians in a poultry farm east of the village of al-Maghayer, located in northeastern Ramallah. This attack occurred after local residents attempted to prevent the targeting of this farm.
Marzooq Abu Naeem, deputy head of the al-Maghayer village council, stated that Israeli forces quickly responded to the incident and instead of protecting the Palestinians, supported the militants by firing tear gas at them. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in this incident.
Separate Attacks on Palestinians
In a separate incident, two Palestinians from the village of al-Maghayer were attacked by militants while passing on the al-Ma'arjat road connecting Ramallah and Jericho. One of these Palestinians, Muhyi al-Din Abu Naeem, stated that he and his colleague were returning from work in the al-Auja area when they encountered a vehicle with a flat tire.
When they attempted to help the driver, militants who arrived in two vehicles attacked them and harmed them with sticks and sharp tools. Muhyi al-Din and his colleague sustained fractures and bruises in this attack and were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Shooting by Israeli Forces in al-Bireh
Simultaneously with these events, Israeli forces fired at a vehicle in the city of al-Bireh in the center of the West Bank, causing the vehicle to overturn. This act reflects the ongoing tensions and violence in the area, which severely impacts the daily lives of Palestinians.
In light of these incidents, concerns about the security of Palestinians and the behavior of Israeli militants are increasing. These attacks not only indicate the ongoing tensions in the region but also raise questions about the role of Israeli forces in protecting local residents.
