The first art installation you encounter at this festival is a waist-high metal box equipped with an eye and two speakers. Looking inside this box, you see yourself from about 20 feet above. Other guests are passing by, and a few pigeons are sitting on the ground. But when one of these passersby stands next to you for a longer time, your instinct is to look up and see what they want.
At this moment, the experience turns into a lynching nightmare. The imaginary passerby in the box is wearing a blue outfit and narrates a story with a heavy French accent that has no place in ordinary circles. He curiously asks, “Why are people so interested in looking inside this box?”
