In a creative initiative, the "Local Libraries" project has been launched in the gardens of the city of Rabat, designated as the World Capital of Books in ۲۰۲۶. This plan aims to create a cozy and pleasant space for reading and to promote a culture of reading in the community.
Libraries Close to Nature
These libraries, which are freely accessible to the public, not only provide a space for reading but also serve as social gathering points for exchanging ideas and discussions. Nestled among trees and in natural surroundings, these libraries offer an escape from the daily grind and urban chaos.
The main goal of this project is to encourage individuals to read and to cultivate good cultural habits through easy access to books. By hosting a variety of cultural programs including writing workshops, literary meetings, and storytelling sessions, these libraries are becoming centers for cultural interactions.
Alignment with the Global Book Celebration
