Mohammad Gharavi: Hezbollah is not defined solely by its military structure

Mohammad Gharavi, an expert in the field of Lebanon, examined the situation of Hezbollah after a series of attacks on the group's commanders and centers in an interview. Attacks on Hezbollah and Expectations of Its Weakening

Gharavi pointed to the actions recently taken against Hezbollah, stating: "After a series of actions that targeted some commanders, centers, and important structures of Hezbollah, some parties believed that this group would lose its ability to continue its activities." He added that at that time, some circles were examining political and security scenarios for the period following the weakening of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Maintaining Hezbollah's Structure and Members' Motivations

Gharavi further clarified that despite the inflicted blows, Hezbollah has managed to maintain its structure. He sought one of the reasons for this in the motivations of Hezbollah's members, stating: "Many of the forces of this group did not see their presence merely as a job or receiving a salary, but defined it based on beliefs and a sense of responsibility."

This expert, referring to the personal experiences of Hezbollah members, explained that the damages caused by the conflict with the Zionist regime and familial and social issues have contributed to the motivation of some Hezbollah forces. Gharavi pointed to the impact of these factors on the morale and performance of Hezbollah's forces, stating that this group has been able to continue its activities in difficult conditions due to the deeper beliefs held by its members.
