The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, met and discussed with Mohsin Naqvi, the Interior Minister of Pakistan, in Tehran on Tuesday. This meeting is considered Naqvi's sixth visit to the Iranian capital since the beginning of the American and Israeli war against Iran last February, and it comes just one day after Tehran received information about America's planning for new attacks on the country.
Emphasis on Strengthening Bilateral Relations
Pezeshkian emphasized his hope for strengthening relations between Tehran and Islamabad during this meeting, stating: "We believe that America's actions and pressures have contributed to the convergence and greater interaction of Islamic countries, and the numerous meetings and consultations held between Iranian and Pakistani delegations are a clear example of this trend."

Naqvi: Iran-Pakistan Relations Are at Their Best
Mohsin Naqvi also praised the relations between the two countries during this meeting, stating: "We believe that the relations between Iran and Pakistan have never been this high." These remarks were made while Iran and Pakistan are seeking to revive diplomacy amid concerns about escalating regional tensions.
Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, also arrived in New York on Tuesday to participate in the ٨١st session of the United Nations General Assembly. He made a brief stop in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to discuss regional developments with Qatari officials.
The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid Al-Ansari, emphasized Doha's efforts to facilitate an agreement between Tehran and Washington, stating: "Doha is working on mediation and paving the way for dialogue between Iran and America."
Pezeshkian is also expected to meet and discuss with several global officials and leaders in New York. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump recently stated that he is considering various options to confront Iran.
In this context, Mohsen Rezaei, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, also announced that Tehran has presented new conditions to the Trump administration for resuming negotiations and is awaiting America's response.
In another news, the British Maritime Trade Operations reported on Tuesday an attack on two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that Iran has attacked ships that transit this waterway without permission.
