The Palestinian Issue and Global Responsibility
The head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars also emphasized that the Palestinian issue is not limited to one nation or specific geography. He said: "The Palestinian issue is not just the issue of one nation, but the issue of the Arab Ummah, the Islamic Ummah, and even the issue of all humanity." These statements reflect the broader dimensions of this crisis and the necessity for global solidarity in this regard.
Qaradaghi urged nations and leaders to take action to support Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian prisoners, Gaza, and the West Bank, each according to their ability and capacity. He also stressed the responsibility of all parties regarding what is happening in Palestine and called on them to fulfill their religious, national, ethnic, and humanitarian duties towards the blood of martyrs and the suffering of the Palestinian people.
These demands and movements clearly indicate the urgent need for a collective and coordinated response to the crimes of the Zionist regime. Qaradaghi, referring to the critical situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, called on all Islamic and Arab institutions to create solidarity and unity in support of the rights of the Palestinian people and the defense of Islamic sanctities.
