Continued Airstrikes by the Yemeni Government Against the Houthis in Taiz Province

Yemeni government forces are continuously targeting Houthi positions around the southwestern province of Taiz. These attacks, which include airstrikes by fighter jets, are especially focused on a missile launch platform at Taiz airport and the southern areas of the city.

Houthi Movements in Taiz

Evidence shows that Houthi forces are gathering in several areas. Armed groups, vehicles, and heavy weapons are moving toward the east of the city. These movements could raise concerns about escalating tensions and the potential for intensified conflicts in the future.

Airstrikes and Their Consequences

The Yemeni government has recently conducted multiple airstrikes against Houthi positions in the Dhubab, Al-Mokha, and western Taiz areas. On Tuesday morning, Houthi forces fired several artillery shells at government positions in the Al-Kadhah front. Meanwhile, Al-Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthis, reported the deaths of at least three people, including two children, in the Saudi coalition's attacks on Taiz. Additionally, two others were injured in these attacks.

In response, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced that 13 civilians were injured in Houthi attacks on the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif on Monday. These clashes and their humanitarian repercussions have made the situation in Yemen more critical than before.

Given the recent developments, it is expected that conflicts in various regions of Yemen, especially in Taiz, will increase. Analysts believe that these conflicts could exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the country and increase the need for humanitarian assistance.
