The artillery and air attacks by the Israeli regime on southern Lebanon, including the town of Kafrtabnit and the district of Tyre, have intensified.

The artillery and air attacks by the Israeli regime on southern Lebanon, particularly the town of Kafrtabnit and the district of Tyre, continued on Wednesday night. In these attacks, Israeli army 'Merkava' tanks fired several shells towards the town of Kafrtabnit, which along with Majdel Zoun and Al-Mansouri was subjected to heavy artillery bombardment.

Severe Explosions and Tremors from the Attacks

Following these attacks, severe explosions occurred in the town of Al-Mansouri, causing strong tremors in neighboring villages. Additionally, another explosive operation took place in Kafrtabnit, significantly affecting the security situation in the area. The Israeli army's artillery also targeted the town of Hadatha with heavy shells.

On Wednesday night, the sound of a large explosion was heard in the Nabatieh region, resulting from the Israeli regime's attacks in Eastern Zawtar. This explosion occurred in three phases, raising concerns among the local residents. Another explosion also took place in Wadi Mazlum in Beit Lif, and heavy weapon cleanup operations were conducted on the outskirts of the town of Hadatha.

Airstrikes and Their Consequences

Reports indicate that Israeli fighter jets attacked the town of Al-Mansouri and the town of Al-Qantara in two phases after 11 PM on Wednesday night. These airstrikes have led to increased tensions and concerns among the residents of these areas. Additionally, a large explosion occurred on the outskirts of the town of Bani Hayyan, with further details yet to be released.

Since the beginning of the extensive attacks by the Israeli regime on Lebanon on March 2 (11 Esfand 404), many Lebanese citizens have been martyred and injured, and over one million have been displaced. Meanwhile, parts of southern Lebanon remain occupied by this regime.

In this context, Lebanon and the Israeli regime signed a 'framework agreement' last month, mediated by the United States. This agreement is aimed at ending the war between the Israeli regime and Hezbollah and was reached after several rounds of direct negotiations between the two parties in Washington. However, this agreement has faced criticism, with critics pointing to ambiguities in its legal status and the lack of a specific timeline for the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
