Hussein al-Haj Hassan emphasized at the 'Pulse of the Earth' festival that Lebanon is inseparable from the agreements between Iran and the United States, and the axis of resistance plays a key role in regional equations.

Hussein al-Haj Hassan, a member of Hezbollah and a representative in the Lebanese Parliament, in his speech at the 'Pulse of the Earth' festival held on October 14, 2023, in Beirut, stressed the importance of Lebanon in any agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States. He stated: 'The Islamic Republic of Iran has informed Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, that Lebanon is part of any agreement that allies in Tehran reach with the American enemy.'

New Regional Equations

Hussein al-Haj Hassan continued his remarks by referring to new regional equations and said: 'The equation of oil for oil and base for base is currently established in the Persian Gulf, and we are part of this equation.' He recalled the anniversary of the explosion of communication devices and the crime of 'Sabra and Shatila,' pointing to the brutality of the Zionist regime and its internal and external accomplices in Lebanon, considering these events as evidence of their savage nature.

Emphasis on Hezbollah's Power

This Lebanese parliament representative, in response to speculations about the weakening of Hezbollah after the developments of 2024 and 2026, emphasized: 'We do not die and we do not kneel; we will not surrender. The blows that did not knock us down have certainly made us stronger.' He also referred to the strategic role of the axis of resistance in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, noting: 'The axis of resistance, led by Iran and with the presence of Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq, has leverage that directly impacts the global economy, especially the economies of the United States and Europe.'

Hussein al-Haj Hassan, emphasizing that the axis of resistance does not seek to harm anyone, said: 'But we will use all available means to defend ourselves.' He also challenged the claims made about the cessation of war, referring to Pentagon reports, stating: 'This report contradicted the claims of Donald Trump and his Secretary of Defense and emphasized that the real reason for the cessation of war is not a benevolent political action but a structural crisis of ammunition supplies in the U.S. military; a crisis that reports indicate requires a complex five-year process to resolve.'
