Hussein al-Haj Hassan: The Resistance Axis is Creating New Equations in the Region

Hussein al-Haj Hassan, a senior member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, emphasized Lebanon's central role in the Resistance Axis in his recent speech in Beirut. While defending this position, he stressed the necessity of continued cooperation among resistant movements in the region and responded to critics of this axis.

Emphasis on Resistance Ties

At 10 AM today, Hussein al-Haj Hassan stated in front of journalists and his supporters at the "Imam Khomeini" cultural center in Beirut: "We have been, are, and will remain part of the Resistance Axis in the region." These statements clearly reflect Lebanon's desire to maintain and strengthen relations with other resistant countries against external threats. He also added: "We welcome the presence of our allies on this path" and pointed out that this unity is essential to face upcoming challenges.

Criticism of Critics of the Resistance Axis

Hussein al-Haj Hassan continued his remarks by accusing internal critics of the Resistance Axis of being dependent on the U.S. and Israel, stating: "Those who criticize this axis actually belong to the U.S. and Israeli axis." He emphasized that these critics should not be recognized as representatives of the people of Lebanon and instead rely on foreign forces. With these statements, he aimed to strengthen the legitimacy of the Resistance Axis against internal criticisms.

The senior member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc also referred to the positive impacts of Iranian and Yemeni forces in the structure of the Resistance Axis, saying: "The achievements of Iranian and Yemeni forces serve the entire Resistance Axis from Lebanon and Palestine to Iraq." These statements reflect a comprehensive view of international cooperation in addressing common threats.

No Compromise with the Zionist Regime

In response to claims from Zionist media, Hussein al-Haj Hassan clarified that Lebanese officials will have no compromise or retreat against the Zionist regime. He made these remarks amid increasing tensions between the Zionist regime and resistant groups in the region. Al-Haj Hassan aimed to reinforce Lebanon's determination and will against any external threats.
