Imam Faiq Rostami: Officials Should Be More Servants to the People

Imam Faiq Rostami, the Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj, today _Friday, the 27th of Shahrivar_, in the Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque of Sanandaj, highlighted the importance of charity and giving, stressing the need for greater attention to the needy. He likened charity and giving to a grain of wheat that produces hundreds of other grains, deeming the necessity of serving people, especially the poor, as very important.

Relief Committee Services to Needy Students

Imam Rostami further pointed out the services of the Relief Committee in Kurdistan province, stating that this organization assists 47,500 students and 1,230 university students, and has so far distributed 37,000 educational packages among needy students. He emphasized that with 10,500 needy students in the province, efforts must be made to prevent the extinguishing of their lights of knowledge and learning.

The Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj, referring to the importance of understanding the conditions of the poor and needy, stated: "Everything you can do should be utilized to assist these segments." He also mentioned the two important organizations, the Relief Committee and the Welfare Organization, stating that these two institutions have a significant mission to help the weak segments of society.

The Necessity of Attention to Knowledge and Unity Among Muslims

Imam Rostami, highlighting the importance of knowledge in Islam, said: "Whoever wants both this world and the hereafter must pay attention to knowledge, as knowledge means prosperity, revival, and development." He believed that the stronger the foundation of knowledge in a country, the more developed that country will be.

The Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj noted the efforts of enemies to create discord among Muslims, stating: "The world of disbelief seeks to create division and discord among Muslims, and the enemies of Islam want to set Muslims against each other." He also referred to the dangers arising from division and the sanctions that enemies seek, urging Muslims to be vigilant and united.

Imam Rostami continued by addressing the economic conditions of the country and the efforts of officials to combat inflation and rising prices, saying: "Officials must work harder to eliminate inflation and the rising prices of goods." He emphasized that the people of Kurdistan love their country and stressed the necessity of supporting the system.

In conclusion, Imam Rostami pointed out the importance of paying attention to mosques and their servants, quoting the President, emphasizing the need to support mosque leaders. He said: "Mosques are the source of unity and solidarity, and officials must pay special attention to them."
