Sheikh Ali Damoush, the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, and Mustafa Al-Fouani, the head of the Amal Movement's Executive Committee, discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the political, economic, and social challenges facing the country during a joint meeting in Beirut yesterday. This meeting took place while Lebanon is grappling with multiple economic and political crises.
The Necessity of Maintaining National Unity
The two sides emphasized strengthening the internal atmosphere and maintaining national security and stability during the meeting. Sheikh Ali Damoush and Mustafa Al-Fouani called for accelerating the reconstruction process and facilitating the return of residents to their villages and cities. They also highlighted the importance of addressing economic, social, and livelihood issues, believing that national partnership and coexistence are the fundamental basis for protecting Lebanon.
