According to eyewitnesses, sounds of gunfire and explosions were clearly heard in the area. Additionally, local sources reported that during this raid, at least two Palestinian citizens, including a child, were detained by Israeli forces.
Attacks on Al-Quds University and Other Areas
Following this raid, soldiers also attacked the vicinity of Al-Quds University in western Nablus. This operation was accompanied by heavy gunfire and created fear and panic among students and residents of the area. Witnesses say that several Palestinian youths fled to safer locations due to fear of the attacks.
Soldiers also raided the settlement of Deir al-Ghusun in northern Tulkarm and attacked one of the homes in the area. According to reports, several residents were also detained during this raid.
Fires in Palestinian Farms
Israeli settlers also raided the village of Tawaneh in southern Hebron early this morning and, in an unprecedented act, set Palestinian farms on fire. This action has caused anger and concern among local residents, and many farmers have suffered heavy losses due to the destruction of their crops.
Experts believe that these attacks and fires are part of the Israeli regime's strategy to pressure Palestinians and weaken their morale on the eve of the agricultural harvest season.
Social and Economic Consequences
These attacks come at a time when the economic situation of Palestinians in the West Bank is severely affected by restrictions and security crises. Many residents of these areas are unable to continue their economic and social activities due to fear of military attacks.
These developments have not only led to increased tensions in the region but have also raised global concerns and may impact future peace negotiations.
