The documentary "Bloody Tuesday" directed by Ali Karami was unveiled today, September 15, at the Ivan Shams Hall. This ceremony was attended by a number of families of martyrs and cultural and political officials, focusing on the dimensions of the terrorist incident of the pagers in Lebanon and the role of the resistance movement in this event.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, one of the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resistance movement were not the initiators of the war in the region, analyzing historical developments and documents related to past wars. He pointed out his previous experience in the Quds Force of the IRGC, emphasizing that the mission of this force is to support and back the resistance movement, not to initiate wars.

Masjedi referred to the aggressions of the Zionist regime and its role in the formation of Hezbollah Lebanon, stating: "Hezbollah was formed in response to the occupation by the Zionist regime, and its fundamental activity has been the defense of Lebanon." He also mentioned the imposed war against Iran, asserting that the Islamic Republic defended its territorial integrity against Iraq's attack.
The necessity of documenting historical events
Mohammad Amin Tavakkolzadeh, the Deputy for Social and Cultural Affairs of Tehran Municipality, continued the ceremony by emphasizing the necessity of documenting contemporary events, stating: "The events that are happening today in front of the eyes of the world are part of history and must be narrated for future generations." He referred to recent developments and the contradiction between Western claims about human rights and its actions in supporting the Zionist regime, adding that the documentary "Bloody Tuesday" has documented part of the reality of the terrorist incident.
Majid Amani, former Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, also pointed out the objectives of the Zionist regime behind the terrorist operations of the pagers, stating that this regime has tried to create wounds among the resistance forces to separate them from Lebanese society. However, this calculation had the opposite result, and the people's view of the wounded resistance fighters was one of respect and empathy.
He also emphasized the need to accurately document and narrate the events of the resistance, saying: "The correct narration of events should not be influenced by enemy propaganda." This ceremony concluded with an emphasis on the necessity of supporting the resistance and documenting contemporary history.
