More than 9,000 Palestinians are in Israeli jails, according to recent statistics released by organizations active in the field of prisoners' affairs. Based on the published information, currently, 9,350 Palestinian detainees are imprisoned in Israeli jails, of which 350 are children and 90 are women.

Additionally, the number of individuals classified by the Israeli regime as "illegal combatants" has increased to 1,393. This statistic does not include all detainees from the Gaza Strip and specifically refers to individuals held in camps affiliated with the Israeli military.

More than 350 Palestinian children are held in Megiddo and Ofer prisons, where their conditions have been reported as concerning. Furthermore, the number of female prisoners is around 90. Palestinian and Israeli human rights organizations frequently report on the poor conditions of these detainees in prisons.
